Could install WDS without any problem, waited 2 hours for building the
index, finished without error message and got a message that I can start to
search now...

Can search whatever I want, get always promptly "0 results". Rebuilded the
index from scratch, didn't solve the problem. Have the Icon in the message
bar, closed it and restarted desktop search application, same problem.

There isn't any entry in the Eventlogs about desktop search. Have found the
following entries in a file "mapi.txt" in the dektop search log folder (a
lot more of these messages):

InitRowFilter could not open message (8004010f)
12/05/2005 13:55:30 error WindowsSearchFilter.exe (PID:2512 TID:3060)
InitRowFilter could not open message (8004010f)
12/05/2005 13:55:32 error WindowsSearchFilter.exe (PID:2512 TID:3060)

Any advice?
Thank you all in advance
Franz

I have a support call open with MS at the moment on this same subject. I
have approx 6 seperate computers in my pilot deployment that install and
appear to build an index perfectly but all searches return 0 results.

Other computers are working perfectly.

Thank you for your feedback! We will be very interested if you can post
results from the MS Support Call here, when you have got them.

Have sended two support requests with the Microsoft Email form of the MSN
Toolbar. One is unanswered for more than a week, and have got an answer from
the other request that thay can't provide support for the problem we have.
