 I have WDS 2.6.5 installed, and I get no results when I search, either by
clicking on "Search Now" or using "Search Desktop" in the Windows Live
Toolbar. No results means absolutely nothing happens - no preview, no
nothing. By contrast, the Deskbar will produce some results, so some part of
WDS seems to be working. As far as I can tell, the indexing is complete.
Using Win XP SP2.

I realize that a similar problem has been posted previously, but there don't
seem to be any current answers. Thanks.

Are you sure about that version? I have:

2.05.0000.1082 of WDS

When I try to install the WDS bits on the main MSN Search site it tells me I
have the latest installed.
