Please log in for more thread options Please can we get a clear reply from Microsoft on this. I already own
VoiceCommand and have installed it successfully on an Ipaq4700 and a WM5
smartphone. I want to try it on an MPX 200 running SmartPhone 2003.
The documentation clearly states the following: "Hardware Requirements -
Requires Pocket PC or Pocket PC Phone Edition running Windows MobileTM 2003
or later software." The advert on Handago says: "Windows Mobile 2003 software
for Pocket PC or Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PC Phone Edition.
Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition also supported. To check the version that
you have on your Pocket PC go to Start | Settings | System Tab | About. The
version must start with 4.2 to use Voice Command."
I have checked, and my Windows version is 4.2. However, when I try and
install the software ActiveSync reports that there is no suitable device to
install to.
Is the issue possibly a problem with ActiveSync? I have now upgraded to 4.2
(to support my WM5 device), and the Voice Command documentation relates to
3.7.X. If so, is there any way to fix this, or to manually deliver and
install the CAB file?
Thanks
Andrew
