Hi
I bought a laptop from Comet a short while ago. and along with it came a
free data card with Vodaphone (valued at £200) There was a load of bumpf
with it but I cannot see the cost of being on line anywhere. Does anyone
know how much it would be to say surf for half an hour, just surfing,
emailing or messengering?
I have looked at the web site and emailed vodaphone but they seem coy in
providing the details.
Thanks
Mick

The info that you seek is on the site at www.vodafone.co.uk select 3g/gprs
card and then price plans. There is then a link to a PDF file but it does
require the latest version of Acrobat reader so it cannot be viewed at work.

As both 3g and GPRS are permanently on, access is not charged by time but by
the number of kilobytes of data. Generally you pay a monthly fee which
includes a number of megabytes of data, and then pay so many pence per
kilobyte thereafter. 3g is more expensive than gprs. The higher the fixed
part of the charge that you pay, the larger the number of included megabytes
and the lower the cost of extra kilobytes.

Thanks for that, under my nose as usual... I have the mobile connect data
card with WLAN service which according to the plan is £3.5 for 30mins.
Thanks again
Mick
