I experienced the same problem and I had Nero Home Essentials 7 installed -
not the full version of Nero. When I tried to burn a recorded movie and told
MC to use Nero it would bomb out and say there wasn't enough room on the DVD
and when I tried the Sonic plug-in for Media Center I got the error you are
getting. I uninstalled Nero and tried again and the movie burned to DVD just
fine. I'm sure there's a more professional fix but I was experimenting and
that worked!
