I bought a new TV-Tuner AverTV Hybrid MCE 316 Plus, which is certified for
Windows Vista (and MCE compatible, as written on product pack), I am trying
to use it for watching TV with Media Center in Windows Vista Ultimate x86
(Russian), but having a problem with it... When I start TV-configuration from
Media-Center and it tries to start reciever service ehRecvr.exe, it fails
with internal error (which is written in system log) - below is my
translation of the error message from Rus to Eng:
"Failed application ehRecvr.exe, version 6.0.6000.16386, time stamp
0x4549b54f, failed module RAAC.dll, version 10.0.0.1066, time stamp
0x4527139d, exception code 0xc0000005, error displacement 0x00001a2a, process
ID 0x1894, time of application startup 0x01c84ad1dd8ea29b."
Here are some more details of my computer configuration:
Tv-TunerDriver: AverMedia A16E PCI Hybrid DVBT 4.5.0.12 (latest version by
the current moment)
Video Card Driver: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS 7.15.11.6369 (Gygabite Video Card);
All AverMedia software for watching TV, which came with TV-Tuner, works fine
on Vista. Please, help me to solve problem with Vista MCE and my TV-Tuner!
