I am in the process of converting a large DVD collection to Divx. Because of
the amount of movies I have, I will be using multiple hard drives to store
the files on a server (that is yet to be built). I just started attempting to
utilize Media Center and have a couple of questions:
1. I found the registry edit that allows for the DVD Library, but since I
store my movies in divx, they don't show up there. Is there a tweak that will
allow that library to see my divx movies? I saw that there were some programs
that would allow Media Center to pull information (such as actors, directors,
etc) but only if they were in the DVD Library.
2. Since I use multiple drives to keep my movies, the Video Library sees
them as separate folders (which means I have to look in each one in order to
find a movie I want). Is there a way to set it so that the Video Library
lists all the movies in all folders or just sees all folders as one?
I guess what I'm looking for is a way to have all of my movies listed in one
place so that it's easier to search through them. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
