Ok. So am I the sucker or what? I bought one of these things.

The ring is so low that I can't hear it... Audiovox support basicly said:
"Too bad".

The email part (most important thing to me) I must not understand. I
thought it would be able to send and receive my emails. I've loaded the
software on my work pc that waits for new emails, but from what I can tell
my vx6600 only dials up and checks for new messages like every 15 minutes?
To heck with that. I want my new mail pushed down to me ASAP just like SMS.
Can I do that? This thing looks to have 4 different sync features... I'm
not sure (obviously) what I'm doing. Can somebody help me make it so my new
messages are pushed down to me? If I could fix the ring and have my mail
get pushed down to me I'd like this little thing. The battery life is a
joke but I can get used to that.

Should I just get a blackberry? I understand it can get email at anytime
and doesn't need to dialup to 'check' for new emails.

of the specifics but I know it's out there..hth

The files on the phone that are the stock ring tones have too low of a
recording volume. Here is THE solution for you:

Not sure about your email situation though... good luck.

You need to have a Exchange Server configured to allow AUTD (Always
Up-To-Date):

You can then receive e-mails on your device as they arrive on your server.

Ooops. Meant to finish this on the other post...

There are other programs that can do this without the Exchange Server, but
will require a redirector in your computer (and of course your computer
always on):
