Hi,
Does anybody know of a VPN client for the PocketPC which Supports NAT-T? I
am trying to connect to a MS ISA2004 server behind a NAT table (using GPRS
on the phone), but the standard MS client doesn't seem to support NAT-T.

I've tried MovianVPN, Certicom, AnthaVPN, none seem to connect to an ISA
server.

Anybody got any thoughts?

Thanks
Paul

Hello,

the client- software isn't the problem (99%). It's the gateway and the
protocol. It depends on the service you use and on the gateway you're
behind- (here I think IPSec and older router model). See - most newer
routers have support for VPN passthrough - but even this doesn't work
always. Even on some GPRS networks, you have to pass several gateways
that crashes IPSec protocol.

If you look deeper into IPSec / IKE, you will find tons of written
stuff in the internet trying to solve the problem IPSec and Nat. That
problem exists in the nature of IPSec.

If your administrator likes you, he'll give you access to PPTP VPN to
the service you need via ISA. PPTP VPN does work better, but it is not
as secure than IPSec.
