You can search some previous threads around the end of November for my
comments on the various remotes. Yes, you can use it. However, you must be
careful with your volume control. You ONLY can configure a TV with it. If
your audio uses a receiver, you will not be able to adjust the volume
(eXtenders do not support UI-based volume). We highly recommend the
standard MCE learning remote as the best general purpose one. The
specialized Xbox buttons (A,B,X, and Y) sort-of are available if you read
the remote's documentation
(http://www.xbox.com/NR/rdonlyres/968C42C4-617B-4820-B9E7-A6A02413C543/0/Xbox360MCQuickRef.pdf).
We still have not found a way to log into Microsoft's MSN Music service with
any of the controllers or remotes when using the 360 as a MCE eXtender,
however.
