We currently have Windows 2000 servers using passthrough authentication
using identical local accounts on an IIS server and a SQL server
(matching IUSR username and password). However, we have not been able
to get this working between a Windows 2003 sp1 IIS server and a Windows
2000 SQL server.

Does anyone use this method of authentication for IIS-SQL
communication? Was there anything special that you had do in the
registry or local security policy? Which NTLM compatibility level are
you using?

Thanks for any help you can offer.
