Hi we are sending out internal newsletters to our employees. These can be
read from Outlook 2003, Windows Mobile devices (i.e Treos) or Blackberries.
When we use the AlternateView class to send out HTML & text versions, the
HTML version renders in Outlook fine, the text version in the Treo, but the
Blackberry appears to try and render the text of the HTML version which is
very ugly because it includes links to any images, etc that we had in HTML
version but not in the text version..
I'm trying to figure out what is going on the Blackberry's, Is it's
supported version of HTML different and is there a work around for our
scenario? Thanks, Dave.
The description of the AlternateView class on MS....
"Use the AlternateView class to specify copies of an e-mail message in
different formats. For example, if you send a message in HTML, you might also
want provide a plain text version in case some of the recipients use e-mail
readers that cannot display HTML content."
