I'm using an iPAQ hw6945. I upgraded the ActiveSync from 4.2 to 4.5. But
when I did, it didn't recognize the current partnership and identified my
iPAQ by the same name, but with a "2" after it. It syncronized fine, but
now it appears on the handheld two different partnerships, each trying to be
sync'd by ActiveSync.

When I went on to the handheld and deleted the first partnership, it said it
would only delete the "partnership," not the files, contacts, etc.,
associated with it. Now the handheld says I have "extremely low memory."
I've gone in and checked for any large files and I find none. I can only
guess that ActiveSync is synching two sets of data and that is why I am now
out of memory, or I now have both ActiveSync 4.2 and 4.5 somewhere. I have
added no programs or files since the upgrade. Anyone have a suggestion?

Hi Heidi,

Even if you have two partnerships on a device, the data profile remains the
same. The phone carries only one set of data.

There have been times where sometimes data gets added thanks to duplicate
entries. But I guess that isn't happening here since it would be very
apparent. I would suggest you first perform a soft reset on your device and
then access Start->Settings->System->Memory and see how much free memory is
available.
