O2 XDAII, Activesync 3.8.0, Outlook 2003.
Outlook always reports 5 unresolved items, sync's the rest of the inbox
properly but always ends up with 5 unresolved items. I've set to only sync
messages that are 1 day old, but no joy. Is there a count in the registry or
a database that's needing reset?

Thanks,
Andy

Hi Andy,

Try recreating the partnership. To delete a partnership --

1. Disconnect the PPC from the computer.
2. In Activesync -> File -> Delete Partnership.
3. Connect the device and follow the onscreen instructions to setup a new
partnership.

Hi,
If that doesn't work, try creating a new folder and moving the Inbox items
there. Then move them back until you identify the e-mail messages that
won't sync.

I've had a completely empty inbox on both PC and PPC and searched every
folder, but no messages.

I was also trying to avoid setting up a new partnership as I've a lot of
other programs that use activesync.

The problem could be academic since I've just been contacted by O2 who want
to upgrade me to an XDAIIS.

Thanks for the suggestions.

If you have files with non-English characters such as Chinese for example,
it will create that problem. As soon as you change the file names to
English, the problem will be gone.
