Is there a way to determine which file is the "Unresolved File" when
Acticesync is unable to sync all files?

Hi,

Move the files to a temp folder and then synchronize small sets of files to
determine the one that is causing the error message.

Hi Raj,

I presume you are referring to files held in the top-level folder "WM_myname
My Documents". I have removed all files from this folder both on my PC and
in my PDA and placed them in a temporary file on my PC but the problem with
one file still exists. There are other files in subdirectories to this
folder but they are all system-type files (eg, .dat files, etc) which I do
not feel comfortable removing at this stage and which I believe should not be
getting synchronised anyway.
Any other suggestions?

Actually subfolders of My Documents sync as well. The problem file might be
in one.

While some are system files of a sort (templates for Office Mobile, etc.)
they should be perfectly same to move as long as you move them back later.
I'd probably move each subfolder one at a time until you find the one with
the problem file(s) inside.

Of course, this really shouldn't be necessary. Why Activesync and/or WMDC
can't just TELL you which file(s) are unresolved is a mystery to me!

I'm having the same problem, but only when syncing to my office computer, not
my home computer. Initially activated the device on the home computer. no
problems, including the files sync. Then installed ActiveSync and activated
on my office computer. Problems with 19 unresolved files on the office
computer. syncing more than 19 files, and all files appear to be on the
office computer. how do I identify / fix this problem?
