Hi, I am trying to connect my personal laptop to my employers remote access
network (Cisco to get access to webmail, etc). I have this working from my
desktop with Windows XP Professional. but I have not been able to get it
working with the laptop which has Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
(Version 5.1.2715.3011, Update Rollup 2). I am the administrator of the
laptop/have access to the hidden folders.
The error I get when I try to install the certificate (Internet Explorer 7)
is:
Unable to install the certificate
Please verify that your CSP supports any settings you have made and that
your input is valid
Error: 0x8007000D
I think this is a Media Center issue and not Internet Explorer 6 vs 7
(because I tried to set this up unsuccessfully with IE 6 before as well).
What do I have to change or install to enable access?
Thank-you,
Peter
