Unable to copy/move files from PocketPC To PC Paul K 11-20-2005

 I can copy and move files to the Pocket PC but when I try to copy or move
the files to my PC nothing happens. No error message it just will not copy
or move the file.

Using activesync 3.8 with IPAQ 2414

 Hi,
Are you able to Explore the Pocket PC? If you can't then check and see if
ActiveSync is allowed to access the internet through any software firewall
you have installed.

While you can probably resolve this (it should be possible) it's been a
couple of years since I copied a file via activesync.

For me, it's much easier to copy the file to the storage card, then use
a cardreader to copy the file to and from any pc, activesync or not.

With large files, it's many times faster even taking the additional
steps into consideration and there are known problems copying large
(over 15 megs or available program memory depending on which is smaller)
which using a card reader completely bypasses.

i have exactly the same problem, but with AS4.1 and WM5 on a PPC-6700. i
wind up having to email the files to myself from the device. i'm afraid to
copy anything to the miniSD card because WM5 corrupts/ruins all files on the
flash card if the files are large (i guess over 100k or so).
