I have been using activesync for almost a year. However recently I've
not been able connect. I tried going to file - Get Connected. This
brings up a connection wizard. I am still unable to detect the device (
iPAQ ) Microsoft Pocket PC Version 4.20.0 Build 13252. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Do you have a software firewall that can be preventing activesync from
seeing the Pocket PC?

If so then you must allow wcescomm.exe and wcesmgr.exe access to the
internet.

I have tried turning off the firewall and still no connection.
However, you got me thinking..... wcescomm.exe and wcesmgr.exe may be
quarantined. Thanks for the reply.
