This morning when trying to connect to my laptop my Jasjar is no longer
detected on ActiveSync 4.1 - numerous attempts to reset and disconnect the
device proved fruitless! I've checked that the connection settings in
ActiveSync (both on laptop and Jasjar) are enabled for USB... but still no
luck. I checked the USB connection with my other I-mate and it works fine -
Active Sync responds....

Please help! Or do I have to do a hard reset??

Thanks
Pieter

Check the properties of the LAN connections that ActiveSync 4.1 creates
in your Windows Network Connections. Goto properties of the LAN
connection and check that TCP/IP is ticked.....I know the other one is
working but its worth checking, ive seen that happen to me a few times

Thanks Stuart - had a blonde moment here - in my "wisdom" to fix another
issue I deleted the Windows Mobile device item in network connection!!
Reinstalled ASync 4.1 with the repair option and all seems to be back to
normal again!

Thanks again!!

Pieter

Why don't you sync using Bluetooth? It works much better than with the link
(no BSOD).
