Built a media center PC, but I haven't bought a tv tuner card yet. Any
suggestions for best compatibility/reliability? I have MCE 2005. I'd prefer a
PCI card rather than anything usb...

We would need to know which country you live in & what TV source you would like
to receive before we could recommend a tuner suited to your needs.

You might want to look at the Hauppauge line of cards. The have both NTSC
(if you are in North America) and PAL for Europe. They offer both PCI and
PCIe bus support. The also have Analog/HD tuner combos.

I currently own 4 HVR-1800s the support both XP MCE and Vista MCE and I am
happly with both the analog and HD picture quality.
