Some one asked about this, and I wasn't sure, so I'm asking here:
Is there a GIS users group around here?
If not, I was wondering if there would be any interest in having one.
I am currently trying to learn all I can about GIS technologies...
Especially the open source ones such as UMN Mapserver (I dont have a
big budget :)
I was thinking that we could:
- learn about GIS technology
- bring companies in to speak about different products.
- meet people working on interesting projects.
Anyway, it's just an idea... Please let me know if you are interested
or know of a user group that already exists
