Both my wife and I have the Treo700w. The reception is usually good even
when only the single short reception bar is showing. I work deep in the
basement of a large concrete building and receive and place calls with
few problems. It's a somewhat complicated device so it can be
frustrating at times. We have Verizon service and their tech support
people have been very sharp and helpful with every issue (we don't
hesitate to call for the price we pay) except for the DST issue which
they seemed to be completely devoid of knowledge that was useful.
