A question for the group.

I am looking to buy a smartphone with a qwerty style keyboard below the
screen like the Palm Treo, but running Windows Mobile. However, there
doesn't seem to be many choices for smartphones with this design from
other manufacturers.

Can somebody here suggest some models like this, either on the market
now or to be on the market soon?

Why? You like the noise it makes when you have to reset it?

I am using the T-Mobile MDA Vario, also known as the Q-Tec 9100 (I
think), which has a slide-keyboard. I really love this way of entering
text. It makes things so much easier than the on-screen keyboard!
The processor is a bit slow though. My HP Ipaq 4150 is a lot quicker and
a lot smaller than my phone, but I can't make phone calls with that one ;-)

You can just wait until after the end of the year and get a Treo with
Windows on it... if you like the Treo form-factor.

The only problem is I need a GSM phone for use overseas. The version of
the Treo 700w that is coming out in January will be CDMA. The GSM
version won't be out until Q3 of 2006 at the earliest.

Yes I really like the form factor of the Treo. If there was a GSM
version of the 700w coming out in January I would be giddy!
