We just got 3 new Treo 700w phones and we are currently running Exchange
Server 2003 SP2. I cannot seem to get the phone to wirelessly sync with the
exchange server. Could this be due to a port being closed off by my
firewall, etc?

I currently have remote workplace and outlook web access working with this
server.

Make sure that when you enter the server name you use the full qualified
name not just the computer name. E.G. server1.mycompany.local as apposed to
just server1

I am actually using the external ip address that is mapped to my exchange
server not just the FQDN that is why I am wondering if I have a port issue
with my firewall because everything else works on the Treo. I can access my
Remote workplace, and OMA site via the phone but cannot wirelessly sync with
my Exchange server

Ahhh. What I did was create a VPN connection from the phone to our LAN and
then ActiveSync connects to the exchange server as if it was on the local
network.
