Hello,

I am currently trying to connect my Treo 700w to my HP NC6230 by bluetooth
for Activesync. The Activesync bluetooth setup has been done on my computer
but any time I try to configure the device it says to create a new
partnership. I create a new partnership and then the device does not
recognize the Activesync partnership. The only thing that it recognizes is a
Serial Port Partnership on COM9. I select that and go back to try and
connect through Bluetooth and it just loops me back to saying that there is
no partnership created. Any help in this issue would be greatly appreciated

Hi,

ActiveSync does not supports COM higher then 9. If COM ports assigned are
higher, then you will need to reassign them. If you are using the Microsoft
Bluetooth stack, refer to

Try doing a hard reset on the Treo.

Hi,

Try setting up a partnership using USB first. Once you are done, try to use
ActiveSync over Bluetooth.
