I have an user in my windows with more than 100,000 items indexed. I need to
create another account in the same windows and be able to use the very same
index. Just the though of indexing everything again make want to cry!!!!

Any clue? How can I "transfer" the index from you user to another?

Thanks,
Marcus

There is no supported way of doing this. One thing you can try is expand the
folders indexed to include this entire contents of documents and settings.
The indexing speed is very fast - it should be able to burn through 100,000
docs quite quickly << 1 hr.

Hi Hilary,

Actually more than 60K are emails and attaches. I dont see that as fast as
you described. Maybe for documents it is but emails are very slow.
I am using Outlook 2003 with SP2. Any ideas how to speed up Outlook indexing?

MArcus
