So, heres my problem with my Toshiba labtop, I been hearing buzzing,
grinding noises whenever i place my laptop on a table with force, If
i gently and slowly place it on top of a table, it doesnt make a
noise. NOw, I left my laptop over night and it wont start up. I
mean, it starts up but quickly shuts off in a 30 secs or so. Right
when I turn it on, theres a black screen stating "Invalid Boot
INT file" or something, then it goes to the screen where it
states " We apologize for the inconveniencce, but Windows did
not start properly........" and then i chose one of the options,
it tries to start windows, but shuts off, and then restarts the
computer, goin back to the black screen of the invalid boot message.
It keeps repeating that same cycle.

Is it the harddrive or the fan, whats the problem and can I fix it?
Would i be able to buy a new harddrive and install it myself, how
difficult will that be?? Thanks

What model is it? It sounds like the hard drive is quitting. They are
not really too hard to change. The older toshibas that I own have
panels that slid sideways and unlock. Then you slide the hard drive
out in it's caddy. After that, there are screws that need to be
removed to take the drive out of it's caddy. A connector and/or cable
then has to be unplugged from the drive. Installing is the reverse of
these steps.

Good luck,

Bill

Changing a hard drive is very easy in about 90% of Toshiba laptops and
impossible for an end user (requires total disassembly, even separating
the lid from the base) in the other 10%.

its a a25-s207, i tried to unscrew and see if anything melted or got
damaged, but couldnt lift off the whole bottom piece. (didnt want to
further break anything too) Considering this model type, would i be
able to to buy a hard drive myself and install it easily?? thanks
for any advice in advance

it seems this model is in that 10% which sucks. i dont see any
sliding panels, it appears that i would have to take apart the lid
from the base. would i still be able to fix it myself???
