 My Toshiba Satellite 2100CDT shuts off after about 10 seconds after
start up. I know that its not the power supply or battery for sure.
Do you have
any suggestions?

You do not give enough details for me to understand the problem. What OS
are you using? Assuming it is windows, what happens if you press F8 on
start-up? What happens if you enter BIOS? If in BIOS, this shut-down
happens, and if indeed it not a matter of power supply or battery, you
have a hardware problem. But how can you be positive?

Yes I am using windows 98 plus. When i press f8 it doesnt do anything.

We have diconnected the hard drive and the cd ROM. Weve also conected
the battery and it starts up but shut off after about 10 seconds
