 i have a toshiba satellite m50.a bluetoothmanager and the other
necessary files were loadedo nthe recovery disc.these programs are
also preloaded..but i cant make the blutooth work...waht;s the prob?
does my laptop even have bluetooth capability?

Did you check the manual ?
Did you check the device mgr ?

If It's not listed, Then that Image was for one that had one Installed.
Mine had the same thing. But no bluetooth device. I have a dongle and
tried it but it did not work so I removed it.

Mine has a sticker underneath saying it has it. And there are programs
mentioning it. I have never done anything with bluetooth though.

Sometimes it is necessary to switch on BT first for p&p to detect it
and install the drivers - which can be quite tricky if you don't have
a hardware switch for doing so but BT usually is toggled by software
mainly, as it was with my IBM TP R50...
