Anyone have any ideas why I'm getting a message on my Toshiba
Satellite A85-S107 at the bios saying "resource conflict pci on
motherboard Bus:02, Device:03, Function:00". Since this message has
started coming up I have no networking devices in device manager in
XP.

Thanks.

It doesn't sound good! Does it have an internal WiFi card? If yes, pull
it out and see if the message disappears. Next to try is pulling out
other things like RAM, hard drive, CD/DVD drive, etc. If you are lucky,
one of these devices is causing the problem. Otherwise it is the
motherboard most likely.

If the machine has any "legacy devices" like serial, parallel port, IR
device - that you don't use - try disabling them. Is there an option in
the BIOS to tinker with IRQ assignment for "PCI" devices ? (These
options may alternatively be available in a software config program).
