Hello, I am in need of some input as to why my notebook will not run
on ac when the adapter is plugged in? A short while ago I took the
notebook apart and replaced a broken dc jack. The notebook would not
charge or run on ac. Now the battery charges , but when you are using
the NB, and plug the ac adapter in, the battery symbol stays in the
taskbar and continues to run on battery instead of ac. Also the
battery will not recharge unless the NB is shutdown, WTF? Could this
be a battery issue? If you have any ideas please let me know, as this
is really annoying.
Thanks in advance.
