Hi,
I have a rather powerfull pc (pentium 4, 3,6 ghz with 1 gb ram) which has
just been installed with Windows XP Pro. I have also installed a few other
programs - among these is MSN Toolbar.
The problem is that even though the toolbar has indexed all 122.413 files on
my pc (yes, I have set it to index all my files on my harddisk) the pc is
pausing every minut or so. Then all programmes are hanging for 20-30 seconds
whereafter I can use the pc again for a minut or two.
I have tried uninstalling the toolbar - then everything works fine again! I
have noticed this on the three different pc's I have tried installing msn
toolbar on...
I think the toolbar is a great thing - but when it slows down my pc like
that, I cannot have the program installed :-(
Any ideas on what I can do?
