Please log in for more thread options For anyone interested, I finally got the reply from TomTom today. It said:-
'Dear Mr Baines,
Thank you for your email.
In order to resolve your issue could you please ensure that the BT is set to
"ON" before opening the TomTom software.

I'm sure that is what I told them!
So, a warning to anyone using an imate SP5, (and maybe other imate Mobile
2005 devices?) with the push email messaging update and TomTom. Turn
Bluetooth on before you start TomTom. If you don't, it will lock the phone.
