TomTom Mobile for USA?? John 06-20-2005

 I see TomTom being used on smartphones on web sites (pictures obviously),
but why is only the PocketPC version available in the US??? It seems like
it's been this way forever!!! ANNOYING!
We've tried CoPilot for Smartphone (US), but maps seem to be WAY behind
TomTom's.

Can I get TomTom Mobile in the UK and use USA maps on it??? Our company has
a site in the UK so we "could" do this, but is it possible???

 I believe this will not work, as Navigator maps don't run on TT Mobile.

Yeah, they keep saying it's in the pipline. First time I asked was last
year.
I asked about 1 month ago again.
Don't get it.. you'd think it wouldn't be that hard. It's obviously already
running on Smartphones.... just not here!
