On a recently broadcast show about planetary formation, it was said
that water is accumulated by cometary accretion. However, it seemed to
be believed that oceans of water were brought after the massive
bombardment period.

If it's true that the massive bombardment occurred during the clearing
of the protosolar disc by the sun's ignition, wouldn't it also be
likely that water accretion occurred mainly in the dust disc period?

water was also accumulated by volcanic eruption
