Some phones automatically get their time-of-day from the cell network, but my
Motoroal MPx 220 has a settable time-of-day with no apparent provision for
having the clock automatically set from the network. Is this normal for Windows
Mobile smartphones?

Actually it is fairly normal. Networks are pretty spotty in whether or not
they provide the service. I've even had my provider provider provide it in
one local but not another. Traveled somewhere, it got set, traveled home and
it didn't get set back. Consistently.

You can get third party software that actually connects to NTP servers and
sets your clock periodically, assuming you have a data plan, I believe. I
usually just rely on it syncing the clock with my PC, which is updated via
NTP and time servers.

How can i sync the Clock via PC? I use Activesync in guestmode so activesync
doesn't sync it automatic.
