Please log in for more thread options Hi Paul,
Thanks for your reply.
When I use a PDA device, say a HP6515 running WM 2003 SE version, AS
accesses the device and I can explore the device.
When I plug in one of the PND devices running on CE.NET 4.2 Core
edition, AS connects (PND opens a socket connection) but it looks to me
that when it wants to create a partnership, I get the error:
---------------------------
Version Conflict Detected
---------------------------
This version of Microsoft ActiveSync is not compatible with the
connected mobile device. Please upgrade to the latest version of
Microsoft ActiveSync and reconnect.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Strangely this only happens with the version 4.x. If I uninstall and
use AS 3.8, I can connect to the device.
Oh I must also mention that the device came with the following drivers
for AS (Windows CE USB Host Setup Files):
wceusbsh.inf
wceusbsh.sys
Don't know if the information might help.
