I just purchase a new Dell that included Windows Media Center. On some of
the TV shows recorded that I wanted to transfer to DVD or CD using MyDVD
Deluxe (yeah, it came recommended by Dell, I paid for the upgrade after
looking at the promised bug free feature that come with the it but am
disappointed in that decision for this and other reasons), the file is loaded
about 95% and then nothing happens. The Task Manager says the computer is
idle. After waiting in this condition for about 15 minutes, I cancelled the
loading and get the message "This is not a valid MPEG file -20400".

How do I fix this problem and why is it even allowed to happen to a product
purchased with hard earned money? Please don't finger point, as far as I am
concerned these products are supposed to be professsionally coordinated and
such problems should never see the light of day.

Can we assume the problem file plays fine in MCE? If so, then it's most
likely the fault of My DVD Deluxe. I have no idea what kind of quality
control procedures they have, but it sounds like you should ask them (for a
refund).
