You don't have to buy it direct from IBM/Lenovo, there are more than
enough suppliers with stock. The FSB speed makes absolutely no
difference, as the FSB is the last of the bottlenecks on a laptop (a HD
being the first). Furthermore, the T42 doesn't have overheating/constant
fan problems and uses PCMCIA cards while you'll have a *hard* time
trying to get Express Cards for the T43. I would say that head to head,
the T42 is simply *better*. If you are looking for a reputable dealer, I
would suggest asking Bill, the owner of thinkpads.com, if he can get you
one, in most cases he can.
