Thinkpad 560/E has speakers ? Joe 06-12-2004

 I been looking for a 560/E to run GPS however IBM's websight spec's say
"speaker" (as in one) and stereo sound
......but nothing about internal stereo speakers.
Is this to assume they mean the "beep" mobo speaker (useless for Windows
sound)
.........Confusing

Hi Joe -

The laptop only has one speaker installed. The on-board sound does support
stereo output through headphones or external speakers.

There are stereo speakers in the optional Ultrabase Docking Station.

Im going to have to look for a 600/600E with a decent battery.
