When I download *.chm help file and try to open it, system displays dialog:
Title: Open File - Security Warning
Do you want to open this file ?
Name:...
Publisher:...
Type...
from:...
checkbox: "Always ask before opening this file"
When I press "Open" button, *.chm opens but there are some restrictions,
because I am seeing only
content of *.chm and instead text on the right side I am seeing "The page
cannot be displayed".
I understand that opening this file is harmful, but I have chosed "Open", so
system blocks it even when I want to open it..
When I uncheck checkbox "Always ask before opening" , it opens ok.
So "Always ask before opening" should be superseeded by:
"Always ask before opening and prohibit opening of dangerous content".
How can user solve problem that downloaded *.chm file cannot e opened ? User
have not chance to invent that he must
uncheck checkbox !
User clicks on "Open" mostly , and when nothing displays he think, that
*.chm is damaged !
But I assume that more probably there is error behavior and not in form of
checkbox text.
Regards !
Peter
