Hello,

I am using windows server 2003 and using a dynamic IP. I am using a
free DNS
service that link the domain directly to my localhost.
This error repeats itself on the event log even after replace the DNS
providers:

The Security System detected an authentication error for the server
DNS/ns1.dnsexit.com. The failure code from authentication protocol
Kerberos was
"There are currently no logon servers available to service
the logon request.

(0xc000005e)".

What can I do?

The server on my localhost keeps going down and up and keep beeing
unsteady...
Please help.

Hello megetron,

Please describe more detailed your setup, how many DC's, how are they connected
etc.?

Is it a domain controller with the dynamic ip or domain member server?

Normally server OS should have fixed ip addresses.

Is the DC also DNS server?

How is your DNS setup in the domain, AD integrated zones?

Best regards

Hello,
You need to understand that I have no knowledge with servers and in
other words I am using the default settings.

What I did is to install the windows server application, and install on
it IIS6 to support ASP.NET applications.

There on this computer/server I have a folder c:\inetpub\wwwroot that
the web folder there the website files.

On this server there is a dynamic IP that changes every login to
internet.

Since I want a server and I don't have a staic IP, I had to register to
a free service called: www.dnsexit.com .
This service is a DNS service , that being updated each time the IP
changes. this can happens with a little help from EXE file that calls
dnsexit.com and asks the service to update DNS...

DNS server is one server, and the web server is another server. it
located on another computers and not on the same one.

Thats all I have. so I don't really know what domain controller is, so
I am not sure how to answer.

I dont have much of expirience or knowledge with servers, but I keep
tracking my log event and I dont like what I see there. many errors.

And this error seems to be the worst, and I suspect because of that
error the websites are not available, and giong down, which makes my
server being available 85% of time, and this is a bad result.

I Hope it is clearer now...I hope you can see what it can be.
Thank you for your help.

Hello megetron,

I also use a free DNS from dyndns.org, In my router i have rule that forwards
all request's to the free DNS name to my machine. I assume you can also
configure
your router in this way. Additional my machine this way is in the LAN and
not on the internet itself.

Best regards
