I must've missed the memo about your having lost it.

Like what, those opportunities can't be engineered and have to be
harvested like truffles? OINK!

or perhaps usenet will go back to the way it was before then?

We can dare to dream.

Dunno, Dylan. Last couple days, I've seen a header or two that I
considered downloading. Busy days for me with lots of things going
on, just mostly not here. Yes the spam level is high, but that's part
of the usenet bidness.

Maybe there are enough websites now that people can find most of the
answers they need without resorting to the dreaded "folk". I recall
somebody here (or in ais-e) going off to start his own web-based
group.

aww isn't going away soon as far as I can tell. Boring phases come
and go.

But Dylan some of us have been doing a lot of other stuff (such as
work for clients) and do not always have the time to post. Also with
the amount of spam in this and other NG's at times I just can't be
botherd reading a lot of posts.
alt.html for mine has always been more active then this NG.

Are you implying that I don't have work to do? ;)
