Well, I don't filter out Google Groups, and it's been pretty quiet for
me too. For the first time since I've been reading this group, the
number of threads (I show posts from the last 14 days) is significantly
less than the height of my newsreader can show.

Looks like it's on the way out, which is a shame as I've been reading
posts here since at 1998 :(

But on a high note, and I don't mean my trousers have shrunk in the
wash, I have refound my sense of humour and flippancy.

The latest pointless thread on browser window widths and fluid design
etc has provided lots of opportunites for stupid quotes, comic
deliberate misunderstandings and the like.

Perhaps someone may even bring a new kettle and some hobnobs?

I wouldn't hold your breath... this isn't Radio 4. Although I guess we
could play some games. I start by moving to Embankment!

Sneaked in I notice? But alas, I am an ond hand at the game of
Mornington Crescent (for the benefit our younger, dumber, generation).

From embankment, I propose.....Leicester Square.
