I made a HARD reset on my PDA. Then I synchronized it with my PC so
that all files, tasks etc had to be copied from the PC to the PDA.
But afterwards I had on my PDA very DIFFERENT tasks! Age-old tasks
that had been COMLETELY erased on the PC now appear on the PDA, and
many current tasks shown on the PC are not on the PDA, though I had
switched to show all tasks.
That is magic!!!
Where did the PDA get the old tasks from?

And why is NO outlook task that I NOW type on the PC synchronized to
the PDA?
Who knows magic help??
(I use activeSync 3.7 and windows xp. On my old PC all had worked
well.)

Hi,
What Windows Mobile device are you using and what version of ActiveSync and
Outlook? Did you perform a restore of the Windows Mobile device before you
synchronized?

Hi!
Thank you for answering. Even more magic things:

I deinstalled AS (version 3.7.) and installed it again. The same
problem. No tasks are synchronized between my desktop and my DELL AXIM
3xi

BUT EVEN MORE MAGIC:
I=92ve also got a JORNADA 690. It does not synchronize to the PC either.
BUT when I write a new task on one of the PDA=92s, give it to the pc via
AS and then synchronize with the other PDA, the new task IS
SYNCHRONIZED to the other PDA! But nothing changes on the pc!!

And: everything works well with my laptop to which both PDA=92s also
have a second partnership.

Greetings, Peter

Hi,
I've heard about the Tasks sync issue before. Try creating a new PST,
making it the default and copying the calendar, contacts and tasks to it.
Then try synchronizing.

IT'S WORKING NOW! Thank you for the hint to erase the *.pst. I did so,
synchronized with the PDA - all working on all PC's, laptop, the 2
PDA's.
Thank you!
