 I use Windows Mobile 5.0 with a Verizon Starcom 6700 and I need the phone to
go nuts when it gets a text message and not stop making noise and vibrating
until the message is read or dismissed. I have found no way to do this. I
am a doctor and a message about a patient comes in, a small beep (or buzz)
then nothing but a flashing yellow light. Even if I am wearing the phone I
have missed these important messages unless I happen to turn on and look at
the device. Any ideas?

 again, apologise as I don't know about the smartphone, but on the ppc
these are at;

start/settings/personal/sounds/notifications

then pull down for each type of event as well as setting a duration and
vibration.
