I need to debug some serial communication stuff.
Is there a freeware serial port monitor that will run on my
HP200LX?
Ideally, it would have the typical screen layout
with hex on the left and corresponding ASCII on the right.
Should also let me easily send ANY of the 256 codes
to the other device with hardware flow control.
It's tempting to think that it's a trivial DOS program,
but nothing is ever trivial. The devil is in the details,
especially if I have to resort to assembler to get speed.
Anything already done I can use?
Thanks, mike
