Tabbed browsing problem RicSouth 06-09-2005

When I select the open in a new tab icon in the Blackboard course environment
and then click on a link to a word document it closes all tabs and the
browser. This is the link I clicked on, maybe someone can tell by the url
why it does that:

It might be specific to Blackboard. It would be nice if it could be fixed
because tabbed browsing has the potential to make that clumsy beast
(Blackboard) usable.

This has happened again 2 more times, once while opening a link to a .rtf
file and once while opening a link to a .jpg file.

The problem is getting worse the more I use the tabbed browsing feature. It
crashes the browser and loses all of the open pages.

This might be the worst piece of software Microsoft has ever realeased, it
is not even stable enough to be a beta release.

Hi RicSouth,

This seems to be a Service from Blackboard Inc. not from Mircosoft...
