My Windows XP laptop is unable to connect to my T-Mobile SDA over USB.
When I connect the device, the tray icon tells me that it had a problem
installing my device. When I look in the device manager, there's a !
next to Windows Mobile-based Device #2. I've tried uninstalling the
driver and connecting it again - same problem. I've tried upgrading the
driver by pointing the wizard to the ActiveSync driver directory - it
does not upgrade the driver.

I've tried both ActiveSync 4.0 and 4.2.0beta. On my work desktop, it
all works with ActiveSync 4.0 - so I'm assuming the problem is not with
my phone.

Any ideas on what I should try next?

Thanks,
Sharad.
