I have a problem with syncing our company Treo 700w smartphones with our
Exchange 2003 email server.
We migrated from Exchange 2000 and an Intellisync server over to using
Exchange 2003 and Activesync 4.2. The Treo 700w seem to work fine except that
now all the Global address list in Exchange 2003 is now completely listed
under the user’s Outlook Contacts on the Treo 700w devices and also under
Outlook Contacts on the desktop. It seems to have duplicated the entire
Global address list under contacts.
I have tried to delete the Global address entries under Outlook Contracts;
however whenever I sync a Treo 700w it automatically re-populates the Contact
folder with the entire Global address list. Is there a way to separate the
Global Address and the user’s personal Outlook Contacts?
